Theeey're Baaack!!!!

New manufacturer, new surface finish, same awesome feel. After incredible demand in the trial run, LDSA is back as a regularly stocked product! Available in 3 colours (for now) and 10 different profiles, LDSA can cover almost every layout of low profile keyboard.

Are you ready for a new low profile, Kailh Choc-compatible keycap? Then let us introduce you to our latest product, the LDSA profile keycap.

LDSA stands for Low profile DSA, so it stands to reason that this keycap is a uniform-profile spherical keycap. The profile was designed by Lowprokb, inspired by the popular DSA keycap profile. It has a deep comfortable scoop, and soft edges to prevent edge pain, and a pleasant textured surface to add comfort and prevent slippage.

LDSA is injected molded out of premium PBT plastic, so they are very resistant to the wear and "shining" caused by many hours of typing.

NOTE: LDSA keycaps are "choc spaced" meaning they do not share the same outer dimensions of a typical Cherry MX keycap. The switch spacing should ideally be 17(h)x18(w) on your keyboard. Choc spaced keycaps will fit on a traditional MX spaced keyboard, but the gaps between the keycaps will not be uniform.

Worth the wait.

I've been patiently waiting for more of these LDSA keycaps to become available, and finally get my fingertips onto a set. The profile is extremely comfortable. The fingers slip easily into the concave cylindrical profile, and there isn't any key bumping with lateral key presses. The thumb profiles are innovative and also sublimely cozy. It's like cotton candy for my fingers every time I type. Thank you so much for developing these and restocking them.

Amazing keycaps

I had 3D-printed out a set of whatever previous model LDSA keycaps was available online and fell in love with them. So I was excited to see these return. Bought a fell set, and they are even better than I had been expecting!

The scoop is a bit more pronounced, the homing keys are subtle enough not to distract while typing while still being noticeable enough to easily find when needed, and the slight curve in the thumb keys feels so deluxe. I find the design invites my fingers to the center of each key, and I make fewer typos with these keycaps on, while the softly contoured edges are just right for hitting those occasional vertical combos.

I can't wait until additional colors are available!

There's no going back

Be warned, these keycaps are like a warm hug for your fingertips and once you've experienced it, any other keycap will feel inferior.

I was using MBKs, then DDCs, then these. I loved the DDC keycaps, but i use a lot of vertical combos and i find these a lot easier to find the sweet spot on. Both are a huge improvement over MBK imo. The spherical shape really nicely cups your fingertips on these. The attention to detail on the 1.5u thumbs is incredible - the subtle angle to them is extremely comfortable.

I had no issues with stem size as noted on earlier batches. These don't seem to collide with my switches but they do hit some mounting bolts on the FR4 plate so i have dental bands under the caps to space them up slightly. On twilight switches, these are buttery smooth and silent.

In the photo i have LDSA thumbs on the innermost, DDC, then LDSA convex on the outermost. I like the alternating shape for distinguishing where my thumb is. The rest of the keycaps are LDSA on a typeractive 5 col corne.

Fantastic!

I’m currently using LDSA on the home row of my Totem along with DDC on the rest of the board. This combo feels fantastic, and I think I will continue using this combo on my Choc boards in the future.

The scoop is very pronounced and guides my fingers to the center of the keycap well.

I may try out a full board of LDSA later, but I enjoy the different home row feel based on my history with Kinesis Advantage boards.
