Shipping issues to the USA


Hello everyone, and especially our valued American customers,

It has been brought to my attention by several customers that packages are being held at the U.S./CA border for a long time. After some investigation, here is what we have found out.

Due to ongoing complications related to the Trump administration’s tariff policies, shipments crossing the Canadian/U.S.A. border are experiencing delays. These unforeseen circumstances are beyond our control, but please rest assured that we are actively working to minimize disruptions and expedite deliveries as much as possible.

It appears that due to the speed that these new tariffs were enacted (and then walked back on in some cases) the companies who actually have to make the policy and/or workflow changes were not given enough time to prepare and enact new processes. This affects any carrier who brokers your packages on your behalf when shipping from Lowprokb to the U.S.

Hit particularly hard by this delay is the standard or "budget" shipping rates who have to be investigated individually at the U.S. customs port of entry. For Lowprokb customers in the States, this is predominantly UPS Standard. I have temporarily disabled UPS Standard to the U.S. Market for this reason.

Please also note that UPS has cancelled all its delivery time guarantees in the wake of this issue, and I suspect that other carriers will follow suit. 

The good news is, most carriers such as UPS offer expedited and express shipping options that include all necessary fees. Shipments sent using these services should not be subject to these delays. If you need urgent delivery, we recommend considering these options.
