These sockets get soldered to compatible keyboard PCBs and allow you to change out the switches as often as you like.... without having to re-solder the switches.
These sockets are only compatible with Kailh Choc switches, and will NOT work with Cherry MX style switches.
I order 110, installed 72 of them, 1 of them wasn't consistently working. Bummer I got a dud but I'm happy with them and its a good manufacturing error percent.
