USA Tariffs and the end of the De-Minimus exemption

New Shipping Method when purchasing from the USA

So the Global trade system has been turned on it's head by policies of the US Government in the last couple of months. It has become harder and harder to sell to US citizens from outside of the USA due to a plethora of new tariffs being charged to importers. Being in Canada, Lowprokb is not exempt from these problems, and hence, our US customers, being the importers when buying from us, are getting charged these new tariffs.

We have come up with new shipping methods to serve our US customers. These new shipping methods roll the tariff fees into the shipping costs so that there will be no surprise fees upon delivery. The added benefit to doing it this was is that we can be absolutely sure that the tariffs are being calculated correctly based on the products we sell. Too many other shippers are taking short cuts or over charging the tariff fees, due to either uncertainty of the origin of the products, or their inability to afford to do it correctly. Either way, you will not have to worry about that with our shipping methods.

So, we are currently offering 3 shipping methods at this time... 2 of them (PYK) deal directly with USPS after the shipment crosses the border, and one of them is via FedEx. The latter can be considered the "express" method, as it will ship out the next day. The PYK methods go out twice a week in a truckload to the USA. They are handed off to USPS there and are already cleared through customs. This means that for the cheaper methods, there will likely be a delay of a couple of days between when you make the order and when it ships... depending on how your order date compares to the shipping date.

To be clear, all of the shipping methods presented to you at checkout include the tariffs in their cost when using a US address for your shipment.
